1. Ordinary low alloy cast iron

2. Ductile iron

3. Vermicular cast iron
Due to the mechanical properties of vermicular cast iron and nodular cast iron, and has high thermal conductivity, resistance to oxidation and antigrowth ability, and have good like gray cast iron casting performance and machining performance, make the vermicular cast iron has good comprehensive performance, and is widely used in the manufacture of glass mould materials.
4. Alloy steel
Alloy steel is usually used only for the glass mould of utensils. Because the thermal conductivity of steel is inferior to cast iron, it is easy to overheat when used, producing adhesion phenomenon. Therefore, the method of forced cooling and rational design of die structure must be adopted. The glass mould should bear a lot of pressure and high temperature. Therefore, the strength of the mould material is high, the heat deformation is small, the heat resistance is good, and the stainless steel and heat-resistant alloy steel are usually used.
5. Nickel base high temperature alloy
Heat resistance and thermal expansion of this kind of alloy is better than cast iron, basic don't grow and oxidation, so use it to make the mould surface crack less, long service life, high productivity, and can improve the smoothness of the glass, but this kind of material's thermal conductivity is not good, and the price is high. It is usually made of precision casting. Only apply to the head, blower, etc., or any of the inserts and pieces.
6. Copper base alloy
It is mainly aluminum and white copper, suitable for the Si, Zn, Fe and other elements. The thermal conductivity of copper base alloy is very good, and the quality of glass products can be guaranteed when high speed molding. Therefore, people attach great importance to it. This kind of alloy to improve the surface finish is the most effective, and the oxidation resistance, thermal conductivity, thermal stability and thermoplastic are good, at the same time the mold is easy to repair, products of good quality and is often used to produce high grade of molding die, die, mouth and stop.
7. Mould surface reinforcement
